THE
EPWORTH SLEEPINESS SCALE
The Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) was developed and validated
by Dr. Murray Johns of Melbourne, Australia. It is a simple,
self-administered questionnaire which is widely used by sleep
professionals in quantifying the level of daytime sleepiness.
